Terms of use
By using this site you accept these terms. They are deliberately plain. Last reviewed 2026-10-08.
1. What this site is
Ponzi Radar is a record of what promoters publicly promise and what can be publicly verified about the projects on it. It is a factual register. It is not a court, not a regulator, not a law-enforcement body and not a consumer-protection authority, and it does not have their powers or their procedures.
2. What it is not — read this part
- Not investment advice. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or avoid anything. We are not your adviser and no advisory relationship is created by your use of the site.
- Not a finding of fraud or illegality. An entry records a promise and the arithmetic that promise implies, together with how much could be verified from outside. It is not a legal conclusion about any person or company, and it must not be read as one.
- Not a safety rating, and not a clearance. A low score is a warning that little could be confirmed from outside. A high score is not an endorsement, and it is not a guarantee that a project is sound.
- Not complete. Absence from this register means nothing. It may only mean nobody has looked yet.
3. Accuracy, and how to correct us
Entries are built from material the promoter published itself and from public records, and they are dated so you can see how current they are. Public promises change and projects close, so an entry may become out of date. If something here is wrong, incomplete or out of date, tell us: see report a scam for both the email address and the tip form. Corrections and removals are logged in the changelog, including cases where we got it wrong.
We re-run the checks we can run and act on evidence, not on volume, and we do not accept payment of any kind in exchange for a listing, a removal, or a change of wording.
4. Anything you send us
- Send only what you saw yourself, or true and accurate information you can point to a source for. Do not send anything you do not have the right to send.
- Do not send material that is defamatory, abusive, private someone else's information, or confidential without authority to disclose it.
- By submitting, you give us permission to use that information in our review of the project — including publishing what we verify, exactly as described in the method & math page. Do not send us anything you do not want used that way.
- Submitting a tip does not oblige us to publish anything. An entry appears only if the promoter's own public material actually meets the test.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attack or overload the site, scrape it at a rate that degrades it, bypass the rate limits, attempt to reach the admin area, or use the submission form to spam, advertise, or flood the queue. We may block traffic that does, and we may keep the IP address attached to a submission for that purpose, as described in the privacy notice.
6. Our content
The register, its wording, its arithmetic and its layout are ours. You may quote and link to entries freely, with attribution and a link. You may not present our wording as your own finding, or imply that we endorse a product, service or conclusion we did not publish. Archived images are reproduced as they were published by the promoter, for the purpose of documenting the promotion; rights in those images remain with their owners, and their presence here is not an assertion about ownership.
7. Liability
The site is provided as-is and as-available. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or anything on it — including decisions you make about a project, and including any interruption or inaccuracy. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here is intended to deprive you of consumer rights you have under mandatory local law.
We cannot recover money and we cannot act on your behalf. If you have lost money to a scheme, contact your bank, your local police, and the fraud reporting body for your country. That is where an actual remedy can start.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and continued use of the site after that means you accept the updated version. Questions: contact or [email protected]. Note that email is read periodically, not continuously — the inbox is checked periodically, usually once a month.
