Ponzi Radar

Privacy notice

Short version: there are no accounts, no advertising and no tracking on the public pages. The only personal data this site holds is what you deliberately send us, plus the ordinary server log. Last reviewed 2026-10-08.

1. What we collect

WhatWhenWhyKept
Your submission
project name, links, what is promised, and your contact details if you choose to give them
Only when you send the form on report a scam. To run our own collection on the project you named, and to be able to ask you a follow-up question. While it is useful to the review, then archived or deleted.
Your IP address
stored with the submission, never shown publicly
On the same form. Abuse control only — to rate-limit form spam and to spot one sender flooding the queue. Deleted with the submission.
Email you send us
address, subject, body, any attachments
Only when you write to [email protected]. To answer you, and to keep a record of a correction or an appeal and how it was resolved. In the mailbox until it is resolved or no longer needed.
Server log
IP, user agent, requested URL, timestamp
On every request, as on any website. Operations and security — keeping the site up and dealing with abuse. Rolled off on the server's normal log rotation.

2. What we deliberately do not do

3. What about the people named in an entry?

This register publishes the promoter's own public material and public records about an operation — offer wording, websites, channel names, archived images, company and domain registration history. That is deliberate data publication, described on the method & math page, and it is limited to what the promotion itself made public. We make a point of not naming private individuals, and of not publishing anything we cannot point to a public source for.

4. Sharing

We do not share your submission or your email with anyone, except where we are legally obliged to (for example a valid court order) — and if that happens to your submission, we will tell you unless we are barred from doing so. The site is served through ordinary web hosting and a CDN, which necessarily process traffic data.

5. Your rights over your own data

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] with enough detail for us to find it (for a submission, the reference number you were given, or the project name and approximate date). There is no automatic reply and no promised turnaround: the inbox is checked periodically, usually once a month, and a person reads the inbox. If you are in a jurisdiction with formal data-protection rights — the EU/UK GDPR, for example — we will honour those rights and this notice explains how.
