Ponzi Radar

About this register

Ponzi Radar records one narrow thing: the return a promoter publicly promises, together with the arithmetic that promise implies and whatever can actually be verified about the operator behind it. It currently holds 100 published entries drawn from 1309 pieces of collected material.

The one test that decides an entry

There are two versions of the same test, and only one of them has to be met:

  1. A return is promised as certain. “Guaranteed”, “risk-free”, “no loss”, “capital protected”. A return is the compensation for a risk that has been taken; a promise to remove the risk removes the investment.
  2. A return is quoted per day. No supervised product quotes a daily rate, at any size. Even one tenth of one percent a day compounds to roughly 44% a year.

Everything else on an entry — the arithmetic, the operator's traceability, the archived material — is context that helps you see how thin the proposition is. It is not a separate accusation. The full reasoning and the scoring are on the method & math page.

Where the material comes from

We deliberately do not name the third-party websites, channels and accounts we monitor. What is quoted is the promoter's own words. Images are kept exactly as they were published, including channel avatars and video thumbnails; an image being archived is not a finding that a project is fraudulent or unlawful.

Corrections

Every change to an entry is logged in the changelog, including removals and wording changes. If you are named here and something is wrong, or you want a project checked, see report a scam.
